On Saturday, June 4th, the Mountrail County Health Foundation (MCHF) sponsored their annual Golf Scramble at the Prairie Rose Golf Club in Stanley.  There were 18 teams registered and a little over $10,000 was raised.  This money will be used to help purchase needed equipment at the Mountrail Bethel Home.

The first place team included:  Chris DeBilt, Mike DeBilt, Kirkland Melby and Hunter Harris with a score of 63.  They won $400 cash. Second place winners of $200 were Brian Borud, Tanner Borud, Hunter Borud and Conner Borud with a score of 64.

Hole prize winners included longest drive for men on Hole #1 Jake Fladeland.  He won a $50 Scheel’s gift card sponsored by Farm Credit.  Longest putt for women on Hole #1 was Dawn Evenson.  She won a $50 Souris Valley gift card sponsored by Doug Kinnoin Farms.  Longest drive for women on Hole #2 was Kali Gandrud.  She won a $50 Scheel’s gift card sponsored by Farm Credit.  Longest putt for men on Hole #2 was Larry Hagen.  He won a $50 Souris Valley gift card sponsored by Doug Kinnoin Farms.  Closest to the pin – 1st shot - on Hole #3 was Keegan Schunke.  He won $50 cash sponsored by Health Care Insurance Services.  Closest to the pin – 2nd shot – on Hole #4 was Alex Skarsgard.  He won a case of Titleist Pro V1’s sponsored by Trailsmen Court.  Closest to the pin – 1st shot – on Hole #6 was Doug Larson.  He won $50 cash from Thrivent Financial, Lynn Grabow.  Longest putt for men on Hole #7 was George Littlecreek.  He won an Odyssey White Hot Rossie putter sponsored by The Leader.  Longest putt for women on Hole #8 was Amy Littlecreek.  She won a $25 Prairie Outfitters gift card sponsored by Prairie Outfitters and  $100 cash sponsored by Pinnacle.

Winners of the Vardon Golf Packages raffle were Brian Borud and Zach Everett.  Numerous door prizes were also awarded sponsored by Border Plains, Lynn Grabow of Thrivent Financial, Renae Gjellstad, Brosz Engineering, Dakota Drug, Joyce’s Café, La Esperanza Mexican Restaurant, Everett Chiropractic Health Center, Enbridge, and Brandi Bieri of Aflac.
