A Full Time Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant Hired at MCMC

Stanley, ND- The Mountrail County Medical Center is pleased to announce they have hired Physical Therapist, Janae Nygaard and Physical Therapist Assistant Kortni Miller. Janae will join the MCMC facility on September 15th, while Kortni started at the end of July.

JanaeNygaard.png“We are so grateful to have our Physical Therapy Department fully staffed in order to provide quality service for the Stanley area,” says Michael Hall, MCHC Interim Administrator. “The Teams immediate attention will focus on maintaining a full range of PT services for our inpatient, outpatient, and Nursing Facility Residents.  In the future they plan for the development of additional PT services for the Community.”

Janae is a native of Wildrose, ND. She is a 2013 graduate of the University of North Dakota with a degree in Physical Therapy. Since graduation, she has been working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Lawrence, Kansas. She focuses on the postsurgical and conservative management of musculoskeletal conditions. In her spare time, Janae likes to hunt, play and watch sports, and spend time with her family and friends.

kortniMiller.pngKortni grew up on a ranch in Donnybrook, ND and graduated from Kenmare High School. She is a 2014 college graduate from Northland College in Minnesota with a degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). This is her first job as a PTA and is looking forward for the opportunity to help the community of Stanley. Kortni will keep busy this fall watching football and basketball, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.

Janae and Kortni join the current team of Part-Time Occupational Therapist Miranda Aufforth and Part-Time Physical Therapist Amber Pankratz.
